Correspondence re sponsorship of choristers in memory of Bishop Reindorp

- typed note from R M L Renshaw, Treasurer, “Guildford Cathedral – Sponsorship of Choristers “ dated January 1990 explaining how a scheme could work
- carbon copies of identical letters dated 7 March 1990 to David and Julian Reindorp proposing that the scheme should be set up to commemorate their father, Bishop George Reindorp.
- a response from Rev. David Reindorp dated 13 March 1990 to the Very Reverend Alexander Widderspoon warmly supporting the idea.
- 1 page circular letter dated May 1990, signed by the Dean and Bishop launching the appeal to raise £40,000 to endow scholarships for two choristers as a memorial to Bishop Reindorp.
- letter dated 26th February 1991 from the Cathedral Administrator, Lt Col J W A Fleming to Prof K G Stephens at the University of Surrey, thanking him for his contribution to the fund, and saying the fund is over half way to the target.
