Nave showing temporary doors to crossing
black and white photograph of the temporary doors to the crossing. On the front is the “Dove Brothers” sign, who are situated in Islington, and they are the ones who have helped with the construction of the cathedral. On the back of the picture is a message that states; “A meeting was held of all the civic authorities in the diocese of Guildfird, Surrey, in the Cathedral. The meeting was called for by Sir John Wenham, chairman of the Surrey County Council to consider the part they can play to ensure that the main part of the cathedral is completed in the near future.”
