This is a black and white photograph depicting a woman, a girl [?Isobel Robinson] and a dog standing on the foundations of the cathedral with the cross of HMS Ganges in the background.
There are annotations on verso in biro: ‘I think this must have been taken in 1937 (? 1938) {this date annotation in red] (I lived in Dennisville form ’36 to ’38) (I can’t believe I’m visiting after 61 years!)’
