Cathedral Minutes May 1957
It was said that the position at the moment was only tentative but there was hope in regards to Lanesborough School where the Headmaster would be co-operative in regard to daily practices. The present music master who had been at Kings, Cambridge, might become assistant organist. The scheme as envisaged included a creation of bursaries ranging from £30 – £80 p.a. The proposal was accepted in principal.
