A Meeting of the Executive Committee of the New Cathedral and Churches Fund March 1935

It was proposed  and seconded that the Executive Committee are in favour of acquiring land surrounding the six acres site. Mr Merriman would be asked to place this proposal before Lord Onslow and endeavour to negotiate a price.

It was resolved that the appointment of a full time paid lay-secretary should be advertised and that the sanction of the General Committee should be obtained to such an appointment.
