A Bound Volume containing lists of music (Psalms, Anthems, Hymns etc) played and sung at services at the Cathedral from 11th January 1981 to 27th December 1987. Also mentions the following:
- June 1982: The Sub-Sean, Canon Tanner, retired at the end of June 1982 and moved to Suffolk.
- 3 September 1982: Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Bishop David Brown, sixth Bishop of Guildford (died 13 July 1982). Preacher: Lord Coggan of Sissinghurst.
- 17 November 1982: Centenary Service for the Salvation Army. Preacher – General Frederick Coutts.
- 25 December 1982: Final service of Organist Philip Moore. Appointed as Organist and Master of the Music at York Minster. New Organist is Andrew Millington, previously Assistant Organist of Gloucester Cathedral.
- New Year 1983: Precentor, Canon W.R.(Tichard) Hanford, left to become Vicar of Ewell.
- 20 July 1986: Installation of Precentor, the Reverend Adrian Leak.
- 28 March 1987: Concert by the Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra.
