Saint Mark
4 patterns for the Saint Mark Kneeler, all on card. a) is a pencil and red pen outline on squared paper, b) is a copy of a pen line drawing on larger squared paper signed by Edward Maufe, with an annotation on the back about colours for the design of the shield and cross keys, c) is a copy of a pen line drawing on larger squared paper signed by Edward Maufe with further annotations for the colours of the cross keys design on the reverse, d) is the finished design painted in watercolours signed by Edward Maufe. The design shows a winged lion at the centre with a halo. There is a shield design in the bottom left with a crossed sword and keys design at the centre.
