Lady Maufe thought that an effort should be made to try to get the outstanding work finished so as to avoid the trouble which occurred last Christmas. Lady Maufe suggested that the stitching of the long seams could be done by machine and perhaps ask the Convent if they could help. Mrs Wilson preferred to keep to voluntary hand work if possible.
