Copy of the Cathedral Site Committee’s report to the Diocesan Conference, 6 November [1928], briefly reviewing six possible sites and strongly recommending Stag HIll. The following Resolution was proposed: ‘That this Conference recommends the adoption of Lord Onslow’s draft with gratitude for the basis of a legal contract for the purchase of a site on Stag Hill for the new Cathedral’.
