Plate presented to the Cathedral by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
Silver altar cross, pair of altar candlesticks, chalice, alms dish and silver mounted cruets for wine and water. The cross and candlesticks with raised textured decoration to the edges or shafts; all with engraved decoration.
Reverse of the photo bears a typed label “PLATE PRESENTED TO THE CATHEDRAL BY THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF GOLDSMITHS”. Annotated 1938. A note in pencil beneath states “Candlesticks stolen. Remainder still here (1996)”.
