Cross and circle
1 Alms Bag design, with cross rising from a base out of a circle, possibly the symbol for strength or the world, the original in pen on squared paper, inscribed in ink “Guildford Cathedral, Alms Bag” and initialed E.M. 1937. Facsimile laid on to card and inscribed in pencil with guidance to the colour scheme of dark to light blue, dark fawn, with the central design in white. On the reverse, inscribed in blue crayon “Reused 1939” and in pencil 61/4 wide and “satin st” with two small pencil drawings.
