Mr Maufe had replied to the question of crochet trimming for surplice,s that he preferred plain hems and suggested tablet weaving for enrichment of other things.
150 kneelers had been issued and it was proposed to issue 50 more.
Mrs Maufe showed the designs for Alms bags. The committee welcomed the designs for the stitchery.
She also showed the design for a cope. A Community had offered to work a cope and this offer was gratefully received. The Brodereres would welcome a design for an Altar frontal suitable for all seasons. The Broderers skilled in such work would begin in the near future.
The Secretary was asked to write to the editor of the Gazette to secure publicity for the Guild.
Cannon Stone offered to arrange a table at the Diocesan Conference on November 25th for an exhibition of designs for Alms Bags etc.
